What sunglasses do Royals wear? Is a question that we get from many customers from all over the world- so we have decided to give you some more insight into what they are wearing to give you some style inspiration.
Since the passing of the Queen earlier this month, interest in the Royals' high fashion clothing brands and accessory brands has shot up.
With 4 billion people tuning in to see Queen Elizabeth's funeral, you can bet your bottom dollar that men and women all over the world have been 'googling' in vast numbers to learn more about the fashion choices of the Royals after seeing so many of them during the 10 day mourning period.
With a team of stylist and fashion experts behind them, the result is selection of 'looks' that we can all aspire to and emulate.
We will be focusing on three royals. Meghan- Duchess of Sussex, Catherine-the Princess of Wales and Zara Tindall.

Meghan wore a pair of Linda Farrow aviator sunglasses for the Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge in April 2022. We absolutely love this style, especially with the ballet pumps and tailored blazer. she is rocking casual, but extremely elegant sheek- the look we would expect from royals when they are not on any official duties.
Meghan is also a fan of Illesteva sunglasses- which are our favourite brand right now and she has worn these numerous times over the last four years. They are a popular brand which Zara Tindall is also a huge fan of.
These sunglasses are round with a keyhole nose bridge feature and Meghan either wears tortoiseshell or black coloured sunglasses.
The next huge sunglasses fashion style Meghan is known for is her round pointy cat eye sunglasses. What is of note is that she always seems to be ahead of sunglasses fashion by a few years. This year has been all about round cat eye sunglasses. It would appear for the last few years, Meghan has been wearing these and they really suit her heart shaped face.
in 2018, Meghan wore these sunglasses (below) to the Sentebale Polo Match. They are Tom ford 'Emma' sunglasses. in recent months we have seen an insurgence in this kind of style. For example the Quay 'Honey' sunglasses have risen in popularity again with their metal frames and round cat eye style.
What Brand of Sunglasses Does Princess Kate Wear?
One of our favourite styles that Kate has worn is the Givenchy Obsidian pair at Wimbledon. Her sister Pippa had a similar pair on. The style is completely timeless and was originally made famous by Jackie Onassis in the 1960's. Since then, it has never lost it's place in fashion.
Kate is famous for wearing cat eyes too. However her sunglasses are characteristically more upswept and pointed than Meghan's. Our favourite pair that we have seen her wear this year is when she did the tour of the Carribbean. She wore a £150 pair of Finlay 'Henrietta' Sunglasses with green lenses. These allegedly flew off the shelves and were sold out within hours.
Kate is also a fan of the wayfarer sunglasses look and these shades really suit her face shape. These are the sunglasses that she appears to wear the most. She opts for Raybans. Kate is very much of an 'outdoors girl,' and busy Mum of three, so she will wear shades that suit her busy life style.
What Sunglasses Does Zara Tindall wear?
The most talked about sunglasses that Zara has ever worn is the Ilesteva sunglasses that she wore at Ascot. She has actually worn them more than once and people have come to realise that she is also a queen of style. She wears the 'Leonard' model in tortoise color. Before Zara wore these sunglasses, I would never have envisioned this style to be seen at Ascot. But now she has- the look is just ingenious. we know that she is also a busy Mum to three children and as she is a non working royal, it is unlikely she has a full team of stylists around her. So the bottom line is, Zara knows how to dress and she dresses well.
